Dougal Howard and Zak Jones have both recommitted to St Kilda, signing new one-year contract extensions to continue playing in the red, white, and black.
The pair recently completed their fifth season with the Saints, having joined the club during the 2019 Trade Period.
Their re-signings come amid a flurry of contract renewals at St Kilda, which include a six-year extension for Max King, a three-year deal for Mason Wood, and two-year contracts for forwards Dan Butler and Cooper Sharman.
“Dougal and Zak have both played key and distinct roles in our team this season, and we’re delighted to have them re-sign,” said St Kilda’s EGM of Football, David Misson.
“Dougal’s reliability is crucial to our defensive set-up, and his experience at the back will remain a valuable asset for us moving forward.”
“Zak has faced a tough run with injuries over the past two years, but we’re pleased his recent performances highlight the impact and energy he brings to our developing midfield.”
Howard has played 90 games for St Kilda after 45 appearances with Port Adelaide, while Jones has featured in 59 matches for the Saints, having started his career at Sydney.
