The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t about to acquire Courtland Sutton.
Rumors swirled in Pittsburgh following reports from CBS Sports analyst and former cornerback Bryant McFadden, suggesting that the Steelers were nearing a deal for a “significant playmaker” post-NFL Draft. Speculation ran rampant regarding which player the team might be targeting, with much focus on the wide receiver market. Many believed the Steelers were in discussions with either the Denver Broncos or San Francisco 49ers.
Courtland Sutton emerged as a prime candidate in the minds of many, especially when NFL insider Benjamin Allbright posted a suggestive GIF hinting at Sutton reuniting with Russell Wilson.
According to 9News reporter Mike Klis, the Steelers have no plans to trade Sutton, and both sides are on good terms following the NFL Draft.
