Amir Bourouh, who came through the Wigan Warriors academy, has agreed to join Hull FC from Salford Red Devils ahead of the 2025 Super League season.

The young hooker, aged 23, has inked a three-year contract with Hull FC, ensuring his tenure at the MKM Stadium until the conclusion of 2027. Bourouh marks the club’s third acquisition for the upcoming season, joining current Leigh Leopards captain John Asiata and former England international Jordan Abdull.

Originally from Huddersfield and a product of Siddal’s junior rugby program, Bourouh progressed through the youth ranks at Wigan Warriors before making his professional debut in 2019 against Salford.

He played nine senior games in the Wigan Warriors jersey before transferring to Paul Rowley’s squad at the Salford Community Stadium for the 2022 Super League season, where he was handed the starting number nine shirt for the current campaign.

Regarding his upcoming move, the young player stated, “First and foremost, I want to express my immense gratitude to everyone at Salford for the past three years. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my tenure at the club, and I am thankful to Paul Rowley, the coaching staff, and my teammates for their support and guidance.”

“I’m incredibly excited about joining Hull FC for the 2025 season. It’s a tremendous privilege to join a club with such a passionate fanbase, and I’m looking forward to contributing to a new chapter in their history.

“Through discussions with Richie Myler, it became evident that this move is an excellent opportunity for my ongoing growth and development as a player.”
