Cooke has made a strong start to the new campaign, playing a key role in the heart of the Fulham under-18 defence. His solid defending has been crucial in helping Ali Melloul’s team secure points in the U18 Premier League. Having captained Fulham’s under-15 side to a national title, Cooke recently moved up an age group after leading the under-16 team last season.

Jacob Steinberg’s commentary reads:

“Cooke, originally from Gosport, has made significant progress since joining Fulham eight years ago. A left-sided centre-back, he has impressed the club’s staff with his leadership qualities and commanding defensive style. He has captained the under-16s, featured for the under-18s, and is on a promising trajectory. Cooke is well-settled at Fulham and has also drawn attention for his ball-playing skills, notably his ability to switch play with both feet. This season, he’ll aim to establish himself in an older age group.”
