Five-star point guard prospect Darius Acuff has narrowed his list of schools to Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan, and Connecticut.
He announced his top four schools Friday on Instagram.
Acuff, 6-2 and 180 pounds, from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, made an official visit to Fayetteville in May. He also visited Arkansas coach John Calipari while at Kentucky in October 2023 when Calipari coached there.
He also officially visited Kansas and Michigan last fall. His visit to Michigan was prior to Juwan Howard being dismissed as the Wolverines’ coach.
The Detroit native averaged 24 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists for The Family, a Michigan-based EYBL program, during the travel basketball circuit this spring. He shot 49.1% from the field, 35.9% from three-point range, and 87.5% from the free-throw line.
ESPN rates him as a 5-star recruit, the No. 2 point guard, and the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2025 class.
