The Cardinals has landed another top class pitcher to bolster bullpen depth
Keynan Middleton, a former Angels closer, has signed with the St. Louis Cardinals, marking his sixth team.
Free-agent reliever Keynan Middleton and the St. Louis Cardinals are in agreement on a contract, pending physical, according to sources familiar with the deal.

Last year, he began the season with the Chicago White Sox before being traded to the New York Yankees on August 1.
He went 2-2 with two saves and a 3.38 ERA in 51 games last season. With the Yankees, he had no decisions and a 1.88 ERA in 12 appearances.
The 30-year-old made his Major League debut for the Angels in 2017. He went 6-1 in 64 games and recorded three saves. He made a career-high six saves in 2018.
In 2021, he spent a year with the Seattle Mariners, and in 2022, he joined the Arizona Diamondbacks.
