The Steelers has just gotten a massive shake-up in the CB market
The Pittsburgh Steelers recently added another star-studded cornerback to their roster.
The Pittsburgh Steelers may be able to strike gold at cornerback this offseason after the Buffalo Bills made a bold move by allowing one of the NFL’s best defenders to enter free agency.
After seven seasons in Buffalo, former All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White has been released, allowing him to become a free agent for the first time in his NFL career, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
More departures on Buffalo’s defense: Bills are releasing two-time Pro-Bowl CB Tre'Davious White, per source.

White is coming off three injury-plagued seasons in a row and has legitimate concerns about his health. But when he’s on the field, his presence is felt. He’s made 18 interceptions in his seven-year career, including one this season despite only playing four games.
White is coming off an achilles injury, which will reduce his expected contract with a new team. After suffering an injury in October, it is unclear whether he will be fully recovered by the start of the season, but he should be close.
The Steelers are looking for a starting cornerback to replace Joey Porter Jr. and have been linked to nearly every available player at the position this offseason. However, if White is both cheap and healthy, he may be the best option.
The team is expected to pursue a cornerback in the NFL Draft as well, and depending on whether they keep or release Patrick Peterson, they could enter the season with Porter Jr., White, a highly drafted prospect, and possibly Peterson.
Expect the Steelers to at least look into White when free agency opens, and depending on how the market shakes out, he could be one of their top signing options.
