Ipswich Town and Brentford have shown interest in Napoli’s Jens Cajuste, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Cajuste, who moved from Stade de Reims to Napoli in August 2023, primarily played as a substitute, making 11 league starts last season. Despite having a contract with Napoli until 2028, the report suggests that Cajuste has no future with the club under Antonio Conte.
The 24-year-old is reportedly “on his way out” of Napoli, with Ipswich Town and Brentford potentially providing an exit route.
Corriere add the Premier League duo have already asked about Cajuste, likely to sign him on a loan deal this summer. It’s not specified whether the Kieran McKenna’s side or the Bees contacted Napoli, the player’s camp or both.
As well as Ipswich Town and Brentford, the newspaper mentions Leicester’s interest. It’s not made clear whether the Foxes wanted him in the past or in this window.
Galatasaray have shown interest, but the Sweden international has turned them down. He hopes to make a switch to the Premier League, where Ipswich Town and Brentford are interested parties.
