Ariel Hukporti reportedly reached an agreement with the New York Knicks.

Ariel Hukporti has joined a growing number of NBL players making the leap to the NBA by reportedly agreeing to a two-way deal with the New York Knicks. According to HoopsHype, the Knicks, who drafted Hukporti with the 58th pick in last month’s draft, have finalized the agreement. This arrangement will allow Hukporti to split his time between playing for the New York Knicks and their G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks.

In his most recent season with Melbourne United in the NBL, Ariel Hukporti averaged 8.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. He played alongside fellow big man Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. and was part of the NBL’s Next Stars program for three seasons. Hukporti missed one season due to a torn Achilles tendon.
