The San Antonio Brahmas have re-signed several key players, including wide receiver Marquez Stevenson, offensive linemen Chuck Filiaga and Sam Tecklenburg, and defensive back Jordan Mosley, as announced on the UFL Transactions page.

Marquez Stevenson, standing at 5’10” and weighing 180 pounds, is a 26-year-old from Shreveport, Louisiana. He originally signed with the Brahmas on January 19, 2024. In the 2024 season, Stevenson recorded 33 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns over 10 games.

Drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round (203rd pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft, Stevenson also had brief stints with the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers. During his time with the Bills, he played in five NFL games, recording 14 catches for 132 yards and seven punt returns for 165 yards.

In college, Stevenson played four seasons at Houston (2016, 2018-20), amassing 147 catches for 2,269 yards and 22 touchdowns, along with 26 carries for 231 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 34 kick returns for 889 yards and three touchdowns, and four punt returns for 20 yards. He was named a two-time First Team All-AAC during his collegiate career.

Chuck Filiaga, standing 6’6″ and weighing 321 pounds, is a 26-year-old from Aledo, Texas. He initially joined the San Antonio Brahmas on January 19, 2024, and played in 10 games during the season, with 7 starts. In 2024, the Brahmas’ offense performed well, ranking fourth in total yards (2,966), rushing yards (962), and yards per game (296.6), third in passing yards (2,004), and tied for fifth in touchdowns (24).

After being released by the Brahmas on August 21, 2024, Filiaga signed with the Minnesota Vikings the following day. He appeared in one preseason game for the Vikings before being released on August 26, 2024.

Filiaga’s NFL journey began when he signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. He was released on August 1, 2023, and subsequently claimed off waivers by the New Orleans Saints on August 2, 2023, only to be released again on August 29, 2023.

In college, Filiaga spent five seasons at Michigan (2017-21), playing left guard and right guard in 39 games, with 10 starts. He then transferred to Minnesota for the 2022 season, where he played right guard in 13 games. During his time with the Golden Gophers, the offense rushed for 2,698 yards and 33 touchdowns, and passed for 2,369 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Sam Tecklenburg is a 27-year-old offensive lineman from Plano, Texas, who stands 6’4″ and weighs 310 pounds. He joined the San Antonio Brahmas on February 28, 2024, and played in 10 games, starting 8 of them during the 2024 season. In that season, the Brahmas’ offense performed well, ranking fourth in total yards (2,966), rushing yards (962), and yards per game (296.6), third in passing yards (2,004), and tied for fifth in touchdowns (24).

Tecklenburg was initially signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Over four seasons with the Panthers, he played in 17 regular-season games and spent additional time on the practice squad.

In college, Tecklenburg played five seasons at Baylor (2015-19). He started as a tight end for his first two seasons, recording three catches for 40 yards and one touchdown, before transitioning to offensive lineman in 2017. As a center, he earned Second Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2018.

Jordan Mosley is a 24-year-old defensive back from Havertown, Pennsylvania, standing 6’0″ and weighing 201 pounds. Drafted by the Brahmas in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft, Mosley had a notable season in 2024. He recorded 75 tackles (49 solo, 26 assists), 2 tackles for loss, half a sack, one interception, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries across 10 games. In the 2024 UFL playoffs, he added one tackle (1 assist) in one game.

Jordan Mosley has had an intriguing football journey. After going undrafted, he signed with the New York Giants as a free agent on May 16, 2022, but was released shortly thereafter. He then joined the Houston Roughnecks in the XFL, where he was selected in the seventh round (53rd pick) of the 2023 XFL Draft. In the XFL, Mosley made an impact with 39 tackles (21 solo, 16 assists), two tackles for loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble across 10 games.

During his college career at Maryland (2018-21), Mosley played four seasons and accumulated 201 tackles (133 solo, 68 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, 14 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 40 games. His standout performance earned him an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2021.
