The Miami Dolphins officially announced the signing of defensive tackle Mario Kendricks on Tuesday. Kendricks, a product of Virginia Tech, joins the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent. He had previously participated in the team’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis after also attending the rookie minicamp of the Kansas City Chiefs.
He totaled 67 tackles (35 solo), seven sacks and three passes defensed. A native of Kissimmee, Florida, Kendricks played high school football at Osceola High School.
