The Wisconsin football team has offered a scholarship to Luke Brewer, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound tight end from Norwalk, Iowa, in the class of 2027.
Brewer is rated as a 4-star prospect by both On3.com and Rivals.com.
On3 ranks him as the 74th overall player nationally in his class, while Rivals places him slightly higher at 58th. He’s ranked as the 6th-best tight end in the country and 3rd in Iowa.
The Badgers are his 11th Division 1 offer, with other offers coming from schools like Iowa, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, and Tennessee.
It’s still early in Luke Brewer’s recruitment, but he may prove to be a difficult target for the Badgers. Iowa is understandably seen as the frontrunner for the Iowa native, particularly given the Hawkeyes’ strong track record of producing NFL-caliber tight ends.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Iowa currently holds a 67.7% chance of securing Brewer’s commitment, with Iowa State in second place at 10.7%. Michigan and Georgia follow with 9.2% and 7.6% chances, respectively.
